Q: What do I need to backup/restore my data?
A: Copy the files base.xml, user.xml and config.xml to your
backup device. To restore your data stop the Contact
service, copy the three files back to their original location
and start the service again.
Q: Do I need a web server?
A: No. All required communication tasks are handled by Contact.
Q: How can I download a contact to my cell phone's
address book?
A: Open the URL "http://SERVERNAMEORIPADDRESS:SERVICEPORT/contact/index.wml"
in your cell phone's wap browser and log in. Navigate to the
detail page of the contact you want to download. Simply follow
the download link. This works with cellular phones that support
this feature only.
